Amber told me tonight that she looks like me. How weird is that? I mean, I understand that people have their types, but crap! She has dark hair like me and... she LOOKS like me. Okay... we all know that I'm no virgin... I slept arpund quite a bit (especially this last spring) and I just asked the Eric and he said he would have waited as long as I wanted. He says that he's not in a relationship for sex, but because of the person. He also says that if he really respects and likes a woman and wants to date her... it wouldn't matter if she had already sewed her wild oats (as we like to put it in reference to my past one-night stands). I asked him if he could think of any other guys who would think the same... and he could name 3... one is his roommate and is in a relationship with a really nice young woman who's even got kid (they are so precious), 2nd is his best friend who is so nice but moving to Florida in like a month and a half, and the other is a really good friend he's known since elementary who lives in Louisiana. So, I guess you should try and meet really nice and slightly nerdy smart guys who have other really nice and slightly nerdy smart guys for friends. Just like jerks... the nice guys run together ( ... )

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to wait until marriage to have sex with a guy... and if he judges you for that based on your previous sex life, then clearly he wouldn't be worth the wait anyway. Brandee's right... the right guy will come along and he will wait as long as you want... because you WOULD be worth the wait. :)

However... all you really need to do is be sure that they love you and that you can trust them. I know this sounds corny, but within like 2 weeks I knew Eric was the one. He doesn't care that I slept with quite a few strangers and friends before I met him. He just told me that our experiences make up part of who we are and I wouldn't be the Brandee we all love and give strange looks to today if I hadn't boned a bunch of dirty bar boys and made-out/messed around with a bunch of complete fuck-whit hypocrits. That's off the subject. You don't have to avoid sex to feel like you deserve a nice guy just because you've had some meaningless one-night stands. I believe that if you love someone and you want to love them physically... it's good to know that you work in bed as well as you work together out of the bedroom. I gotta sleep now. It just hit me. Yawn. I write too much. Don't worry. He's out there, and if you wanna save the boning for the wedding night... power to ya. I couldn't wait... I had to test it all out. Nighty-night! :~*
