Can anyone tell me how to put in a custom mood theme?  I've found one of Jon Stewart that I'd like to use.

You generally have to pay for a paid account to have access to making a custom mood theme. I payed really cheap for a 2-month or some really short amount of time subscription. Upload the pictures to your photobucket then and they teach you how to go from there.
