Jamie here. I'll be 30 this month, so to celebrate I'm heading down to Memphis to spend that weekend with my best friends. We're going to hang out, cook, laugh, drink copious amounts of red wine, and relax.

I consume books the way some people devour food. I love that the air always smells metallic just before it snows. I'm perfectly content to spend time with my family at home and I don't mind being alone. I enjoy silence. I'm extremely snarky and have been called a curmudgeon on more than one occasion. I love laughing with my friends. I have a hard time putting the thoughts in my head into coherent statements. It's been a long time since I've really opened up in my journal. I think I used to be more interesting. I'm very protective of those I love. I've been told I would make a good mother, but I'm not sure I'll ever get to test that theory. I still think I'll end up being a crazy cat lady.

I could go on, but I'll stop here.

I'm a Titanic buff. I got interested in it in my high school when I stumbled across A Night to Remember by Walter Lord. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. It reads like a novel yet is entirely accurate.

I collect Titanic books and paraphenalia. If I had the money, I'd get some of the high end auctions of items recovered from the wreck.

So, the real question is are you going to school over there or were you just working your end off? What are the options? Who shot Kennedy?!
