Chapter 9
“Again why am I here?”
Kame asks himself almost a hundred times
“It’s so stupid of me to come here just because it’s that baka’s birthday”
Kame lets out a loud sigh and waits for the other man to come back
“I’ll be out of here as soon I can” Kame promises himself
Feeling bored that at being left alone, Kame leans back on the comfortable sofa and stares at the ceiling
“This is a great way to treat a guest” Kame complainingly mumbled to himself
A soft thud can be heard but Kame didn’t bulge from his position, just continuing to stare at nothing particular
“But then again I shouldn’t be here in the first place”
Kame lets out another loud sigh
“I will never go anywhere with Akanishi baka again” Kame said loudly
“It’s not good to call people names” a small voice pipes in
Kame promptly straightened on the sofa, hearing a small voice startled him so much
“Huh”
“I said it’s not nice to call people names” the voice repeated obligingly
Kame followed the direction of the voice and spotted a small kid sitting opposite him in the couch
“Gomen” Kame apologizes
The kid didn’t respond to his apology but instead continued to stare at him
“Who is this kid?” Kame wonders to himself as he also stares at the boy
The boy suddenly stood up and walked directly in front of him in the couch
“Is there something wrong?” Kame curiously asks
But again his question was ignored, he was a little disoriented when the boy lifted his hands and touched his face
“You are very pretty” the boy declared
Kame was flustered and didn’t know how to respond to that
“Thank you?” Kame said uncertainly at the end
“No wonder daddy likes you” the whispered
“Daddy?” Kame repeated
But the boy went back to where he was sitting earlier
“I’m Ren” the boy introduces
“Hi Ren, I’m Kame” Kame said
“You’re really pretty Kame-chan” Ren repeated
“Thank you” Kame said once again “How old are you Ren?”
“I’m three” Ren held up three fingers to Kame
“You’re pretty tall for a three year old” Kame observes
Kame likes Ren immediately since he likes being around children
“It’s because my daddy is also tall” Ren said proudly
“Who is your daddy?” Kame asks
“It’s Akanishi” Ren shares the information
Kame got a shock, he didn’t expect that Jin would already have a small kid and the information sends a pang inside his heart
“Why I am feeling this way?” Kame rubs a hand in his chest
“Are you okay?’ Ren inquires
“Just fine” Kame answered
Kame doesn’t know why he was suddenly feeling all these and why he was so shocked with the information
“I didn’t know that he already have a kid” Kame can’t seem to get over that information but then he chided himself “
Baka, you don’t know anything else about Akanishi”
Kame could hear Ren chattering but he paid little attention to the small boy
“Is he already married?” Kame asks himself
Ren continues to blabber then the small boy said something that tore him away from his thoughts
“What? What did you say?” Kame asks
“You are not listening to me” Ren pouted
Ren’s pout reminded Kame of Jin’s
“I am” Kame lies and repeated his question “What did you say just now?”
“I asked if you are going to be my mommy” Ren repeated obligingly
“MOMMY?” Kame repeated dumbfounded
“Yes mommy” Ren nods several times
“Why?”
“You’re my daddy’s girlfriend” Ren said
“Girlfriend?” Kame wanted to laugh but he suppressed the urge so that he would not hurt Ren who seemed serious
“That’s the next step girlfriend then mommy” Ren said knowingly
Kame doesn’t know how to correct Ren and this is the first time he is lost for words
“I’m not his girlfriend” Kame said slowly
“He brought you here on his birthday so you are his girlfriend”
“I’m not”
“You are” Ren insisted
“No”
“Yes”
“Like father like son, both are too stubborn” Kame inwardly sighs
“You are my daddy’s girlfriend” Ren repeated
Kame has no other choice but to tell the truth to Ren
“I am not Akanishi’s girlfriend because I am also a guy” Kame informs gently
“You are not a girl” Ren exclaimed wide eyed
“Yes” Kame nodded seriously
“But you looks so pretty” Ren reasoned
“Uhm…” Kame bits his lips
“And your skin feels so smooth to touch” Ren added
“I am a guy” Kame repeated
Ren stares intently at Kame and Kame doesn’t know what he will do if the small would cry

But instead of crying Ren’s face adopted a stubborn look
“Fine” Ren puffs
“I know you would understand” Kame cheers
“Fine you are not a girl but that you are my daddy’s girlfriend”
Kame wants to palm his face in exasperation
“I think I need to be more direct” Kame thought
“Am I right?” Ren wants to confirm
“The thing Ren is, I am a guy, right?” Kame started
“Yes” Ren agrees
“And Akanishi, your daddy is also a guy” Kame continues
“Correct”
“So us having a relationship would makes us gay”
“What is gay?” Ren asks
Kame doesn’t want to go into details so he chooses his words carefully
“You know when someone or a man wants to play with something long” Kame started badly
“A baseball bat?” Ren asks
“Not that long” Kame almost burst into laughter imagining the length of a baseball bat

“Something slightly shorter than a baseball bat but soft and hard at the same time”
“Ah” Ren exclaims
“So you know” Kame said
“You mean a banana” Ren utters
Kame snorted and Ren was offended
“What? A banana is soft and hard and slightly shorter”
“Sorry” Kame took a deep breath to control himself
“It’s okay” Ren said right away
“I think I don’t like to play with banana’s” Kame said face flushed
Ren nods
“And I am not gay” Kame finishes
“It’s okay” Ren utters
“I know you would get it” Kame ruffles the boy’s hair affectionately
“You can still have a relationship”
“Huh?”
“With my daddy” Ren said

“Yeah you said you are not gay”
“But then why …”
“But my daddy is gay” Ren declared
“WHAT?”
Kame got his second shock for the day and it made his voice rise in which Ren covered his ears while giggling
“Akanishi is gay?” Kame wants to confirm
“Yes” Ren grins
“How can you say that?” Kame asks aghast
“Because he plays with banana’s, you should see him when he’s eating it”
“Why?”
“Because sometimes it goes in and out of his mouth” Ren said innocently
“I don’t think so” Kame said and inwardly “Do not think of Jin and bananas, just don’t..”
“Yes and it looks yucky” Ren cringes
“Uhm …” Kame scolded himself mentally “You’re a pervert Kamenashi Kazuya”
“And I know for sure that daddy is gay” Ren said smugly
“How?”
“Because he always bring boys home” Ren shares
“HE DOES?”
“Yes” Ren agrees
Kame is appalled at Jin’s lack of morals
“How can he let a small child know about his activities?” Kame thought “And he said he is not gay?”
“But so far you are the prettiest” Ren declared
“You’re too young to know these things” Kame reprimanded lightly
“It’s okay I am open minded” Ren answered
“Yeah a three year old can be open minded” Kame thought
“I think you are ranked number one now” Ren said contemplatively
“Number one in what?” Kame asks curiously
“They boys daddy brings home” Ren clarified
“Ehm…”
“Before it’s was a tie between uncle Ryo and Uncle Pi”
“HE TAKES THEM HOME?” Kame said most shocked by the news
“Yes every week” Ren confirms
“What a disgusting man” Kame mumbles “He’s also been doing those things with his friends”
“Did you say something Kame nii-chan?” Ren asks
“Ah, nothing” Kame denies then wanting to change the topic “Where is your mom?”
“Oh she went far away?” Ren said
“Far away?” Kame repeated
“My daddy said mommy went far, far away and she cannot come back anymore”
From the child’s explanation Kame couldn’t decide if whether Ren’s mother left Jin or she had passed away and seeing the other forlorn expression Kame wanted to immediately change the topic
“Sit beside me Ren” Kame urges
“Why?”
“Because you are so cute” Kame couldn’t help but say
“So you like me?” Ren asks eagerly
“Yes” Kame truthfully answered
“Then can I sit on your lap” Ren requested “Because daddy allow me to his on his lap”
“Sure, come here” and then Kame patted his lap
When Ren was already seated on his lap, Kame wrapped his around the small boy’s waist
“I know why you like me” Ren said suddenly

“Yes”

“Oh really now?” Kame said and he started ticking the small boy
Ren immediately wiggled in his arms and Kame continued to tickle the small boy

Both Kame and Ren looked up to see who had spoken
“Daddy” Ren exclaimed slightly panting and wiggled out of Kame’s arms
“Brat” Jin replied
“I’ve missed you daddy” Ren wrapped his chubby arms around Jin’s legs
“It doesn’t seem like you do” Jin observes “You and Peepee are having fun”
“Who is Peepee daddy?” Ren asks
“That’s what I call my pretty Kazu” Jin clarifies as he stares at Kame who is avoiding looking back at him
“How cute” Ren exclaimed “Daddy you have a nickname for your girlfriend”
“Girlfriend?” Jin frowns
“Kame nii-chan” Ren pointed at Kame’s direction
Kame however still looks everywhere except Jin
“Act natural Kazuya” Kame said to himself “It’s none of your business if Jin already has a child and plus he is gay”
Jin is puzzled at the other man’s behaviour
“What’s wrong with you Peepee?” Jin asked directly
“Uhm, nothing” Kame answered
“Then why won’t you look at me?”
“I already did” Kame lied
“No”
“I did and I don’t have to stare at you every minute” Kame said stubbornly refusing to still look
Jin rolled his eyes at the other man and sigh
“Fine”
“Fine” Kame repeated
Ren just looked back and forth between the two adults
“Are two having a lovers quarrel” Ren inquires
“NO” Jin and Kame said at the same time
“It looks like you are”
“We are not fighting Ren” Jin assures the small child
“I don’t want daddy and future mommy to fight” Ren said happily
“Heard that future mommy” Jin said with a trace of laughter in his voice “We are not supposed to fight”
“We are not fighting” Kame still refuses the other’s eyes
“You look like you are fighting” Ren interrupted
“So should we kiss and make up Peepee?” Jin said playfully
“We are not fighting so there’s no need to kiss and make up” Kame said huffily
“Can we still kiss” Jin requested hopefully
“No”
“Just a small peck on the lips”
“No” Kame firmly said
“Stubborn turtle” Jin said fed up
“I’m not” Kame denies
“If you don’t want to kiss me, then just look at me” Jin commanded
Kame turned around and faced the other man but concentrated his stare at the other’s feet

“Yeah I know that my feet is part of me but that not what I mean” Jin said exasperated “Higher”
Kame only stares at Jin’s knees
“I know where your next gaze would land” Jin flirted
“Where” Kame asks
“You know the part of me that you want to taste” Jin said sexily

Kame knows what’s going through Jin’s perverted head but he refuse to accommodate him
