Chapter 14
Jin panics when a single tear rolled down on Kame’s cheek
“Kame what’s wrong?” he asked in concern
Sniff
“Kame” Jin called out a little uncertain
Snuffle
Tears are now freely running down on Kame’s face
“Kame”
Even through the tears Kame’s eyes are now shooting sparks
“Why are you crying?”
Cold glare
Jin stepped closer to Kame his anger and jealousy forgotten, worry etching his voice
“Talk to me Turtle” Jin pleaded
Scowl
“Are you hurt when I pushed you?”
Glower
“Kazu don’t ignore me” he whined
Eyes throwing daggers
“I don’t like it when you cry Kazuya”
The other boy still didn’t respond, he stepped much closer to Kame intending to envelope the smaller boy in his arms but before he could that he was smacked by the bouquet of flowers in the face
“ITAI TURTLE” Jin shouted
“THIEF” Kame accuse while also shouting
“Huh?”
“You’re a thief”
“I don’t know what you’re saying” then he was smacked again in the face by the flowers
“Don’t you dare come near me”
Jin was not called bakanishi for nothing, he didn’t take head of the other’s warning
“Could you please tell me what’s wrong?
Jin tried again to hold Kame in his arms but his hands was slapped and a resounding whack of the flowers on his face
“DON’T TALK TO ME”
“Turtle please tell me what I did?”
Kame hearing that was more enrage thinking Jin stole his first kiss unknowingly and that fact hurts
“Yes you didn’t know what you did” he thought giving Jin a death glare
“Kame please”
Kame had already stopped crying and Jin was glad of that fact
“Turtle I promise I won’t get jealous again and I forgive you for losing your first kiss but please don’t kiss anyone else”
At the mention of the kiss again
“I HATE YOU, BAKA”
He whacked Jin in the face twice more before running of the living and escaping in Jin’s room
“Kame wait” Jin called out
When Kame reached the other’s room he locked it right away because he knows Jin would follow him and he was right after a few minutes Jin was already knocking on the door
“Kame open the door please”
“No” he shouted
Jin while still knocking on the door keeps on thinking what he did to make the other boy cry like that
“What did I do yesterday?” he asks himself as he continued to knock “KAME”
“Go away”
“We can’t solve anything unless you talk to me” he tried to reason
“Try to remember what you did first”
“What I did? What I did? What I did?” he keeps on repeating to make himself remember
Once again Jin remembered the dream he had where he and Kame kissed in front of the door
“No no no no that would be impossible” he denied “It was just a dream, I would know if I have kissed Kame”
Jin heard the door being unlatched from inside and showed his best puppy eyed look
“Get out of the way Baka”
Kame was carrying his things out
“Where are you going” he inquired his puppy eyed look forgotten
“I’m leavening you”
“You can’t”
“I can”
“I won’t agree to a divorce”
“You have to, I will get a divorce first thing in the morning”
“No babe please, I can’t leave without you”
Once again their conversation turns into a silly flirting even though they are having a disagreement
“For now I will sleep on the guest room” Kame declared and dragged his things
“You will sleep with me” Jin contradicted
“Try to stop me”
“Oh I will” Jin thrown himself and grabbed the bag pulling it down
“Let go” Kame pulled harder
Both of them used all their strength in pulling the bag when Jin slipped and fell down, Kame used the opportunity to pull harder but Jin didn’t let go, he dragged along the bigger boy a few steps, the slippery floor aiding him
“Jin let go”
“No”
“Fine”
Kame slammed the bag smacking Jin again on the face then went back to Jin’s room
“Don’t talk to me until you remember what you did BAKA” Kame said with the emphasize on the insult
Jin further slump on the floor his face slightly red from the abuse “Kame”

“Stupid”
“Kazu it’s time to eat” Jin said through the door
“I’m not hungry idiot”
There was it again another insult, Kame keeps on throwing them every time he says something
“But at least my Kazuya is already talking to me” Jin thought
“Kame I won’t eat if you are there going to eat”
“Go starve yourself Pig”
“Turtle”
“Stop bothering me , I’m trying to wallow in self pity here”
“I’ll join you, I could also wallow in self pity”
“I don’t want to see your pathetic face, go away”
Kame had tried his patience long enough, it’s time to take a firmer stand on this one
“KAMENASHI KAZUYA” he shouted in exasperation
“AKANISHI JIN” Kame shouted back sound slightly muffled because of the door
“YOU BRAT”
“YOU RETARD”
“GET YOUR SKINNY ASS OUT OF HERE”
“MOVE YOUR FAT ASS”
“AND EAT DINNER”
“AND STOP BUGGING ME”
Kame still didn’t open the door being to stubborn
“STUBBORN”
“SPOILED BRAT”
“PRISSY PRINCESS”
Jin spat out and then the door opened again and Kame poked his head out
“Sweetheart that’s not the way to win back my heart” Kame said too sweetly
“Kame …” before he could complete what’s he’s going to say Kame cut in
“Woo me honey” then he closed the door with a loud bang
“Want me to woo you okay?” Jin muttered “I would do that”
Since he knows that the door would be locked and he needs to get inside his room the only way to get inside is to use the balcony door.
Jin used the balcony nearest to his room but had doubts when he saw that he could not just cross easily but needs to make a short jump. He balances himself on the rail
“Here goes nothing”
And then he jump and failed miserably because he is still not feeling 100% well
“Oh no” he hold on for dear life
Kame heard the noises in the balcony and he went out to investigate, he found Jin hanging on the outside railing
“Jin”
“My Juliet”
“What are you doing Jinjin?”
“Not Jinjin Juliet, I’m your Romeo tonight”
“Ok Romeo what are you doing?”
“Wooing you in a romantic fashion my Juliet”
Jin could now pull himself inside the railing to be safe but for now he chose to stay where he is
“Juliet, my Juliet let down your hair”
Kame can’t suppress the smile that appeared on his face hearing Jin’s line
“Baka that’s Rapunzel”
“Do you mind, let me do it” Jin said huffily
“Sorry please continue my Romeo” he said getting into character
“Juliet I would do anything for you”
“Really?” he quirk an eyebrow
“I can protect you my Juliet”
“How would you protect me my Romeo?”
“I’ll kick the big bad wolf for you”
“Not enough”
“I’ll eat down the gingerbread house of the witch”
“Glutton”
“I’ll take on the seven dwarfs all at once”
“Big bully”
“I’ll even kiss the evil step sisters”
“You’ll be cheating on me if you do that” he is really laughing now at Jin’s silliness
“My Juliet I would die for you that’s how much you mean to me”
“Romeo get over here before you fall and break your neck”
“Do you forgive me now?” he asks as he climbed over
“Did you already remember what you did?”
“Kazu I really don’t” he whined
“Then it’s a no” Kame went inside the room and flopped in the bed
“Can we just compromise and forgive me partially?” he bargains
“I’ll think about it”
“Great, let’s go down and eat dinner”
“Nope”
Jin had it he can’t take anymore of Kame’s sassy attitude, he scoops the smaller boy and carried Kame on his shoulder like a sack of potato
“Put me down” Kame protested as his head bounces
“You will eat dinner to put some meat on your ass” and he pinches Kame’s butt for the hell of it
Kame shrieked when he felt Jin’s finger on his behind “Pervert”
“Yes I am” Jin said proudly
Jin dumps Kame on the chair unceremoniously and when Kame tried to stand up he was once again pushed down, to make Kame stay put he had used the table napkin and tied one arm on the chair and hurriedly went to get the other cloth before Kame could untie the knot
“I have now captured you princess of the turtles and I will do all in my power to make you fall in love with me” Jin declared
“To make it easy for you my soon to be prince, I already declare my undying love for you”
“You can’t fool me princess turtle your just saying that for me to release you”
“Jinjin untie me pretty please” he batted his eyelashes
“I rather enjoy seeing you all tied down like this, it gives me lots of ideas” he gave an exaggerated leer
“Stop drooling over my sexy body”
“You princess turtle will be my prisoner, prisoner of war”
Kame laughed “Cheesy”
“Let’s eat”
“No”
“After the trouble I have went through to a make a special dinner for us, I won’t take no for an answer”
Kame stopped struggling and properly had a look at the table setting, Jin indeed made preparation for a romantic dinner, there were two long candles at the center and Jin had brought out his mother’s silverware.
“Your mom will kill you for using those”
“It’s ok it will all come to you once you marry me” Jin said nonchalantly
“How can I eat? My hands are tied down”
“Not a big problem sweetheart, I’ll feed you”
When Jin offered Kame a bite the other boy refuse to open his mouth
“Open your mouth or else I will bite you”
Kame still refuse to eat “Bite me” he challenged
“Okay, this would be fun” Jin said gleefully
He bit Kame on the arm and the other boy yelp
“Jin”
“Eat” Jin offered again “No?, Okay honeybunch!”
Jin bit Kame’s shoulder this time
“That will leave a mark” Kame pretended to protest
“Don’t eat honey okay” he convince Kame “I’m having so much fun”
The bite was on the crook on his neck
“Jinjin that tickles” Kame squirmed away
Again Kame was offered food and he refused, he doesn’t want to admit it loudly but he is actually enjoying the little bites Jin is giving him it sends delicious shivers on his body
“Again, no? Banzai” Jin cheered
Now the bite landed on his ears “I think you have an idea when it would go next right?” Jin eagerly asked
To spoil Jin’s fun he opened his mouth and ate
“Spoil sports” Jin pouted
Dinner progress smoothly after that but Jin keeps on throwing covert glances to Kame
“Just spill it out” Kame ordered
“Kame I really want to know what I did to make you cry?” he solemnly asked
Kame sighed, he doesn’t want to be angry with Jin anymore
“Because of my first kiss”
That was the subject Jin wants to hear the least
“I don’t want to know who’ve you kissed”
“Why” Kame was puzzled
“BecauseIdidn’treceiveyourfirstkiss” Jin mumbled uncomprehendingly
“What was that?”
“Nothing, let’s not talk about that” he said instead
“Let me tell you something about the person who stole my first kiss” Kame insisted
“I don’t want to hear it” Jin covered his ears like a kid would do
Kame stared at Jin and waited until the other one is ready to listen
He continued after some time “The person who stole my kiss is really wonderful”
Pout
“He acts really stupid at times but he is really sweet”
Pursed lips
“He knows me really well”
Frown
“Although it was not an intended kiss, I am happy it was that person” a smile curved in his lips
Jin wanted to cry
“Please stop it Kazu”
“Why?”
‘BECAUSE I DIDN’T RECEIVE YOUR FIRST KISS AND I’M JELOUS AS HELL” Jin shouted at Kame
“But you did” he said quietly
“Huh”
“The person who kissed me was you”
“That’s not very funny” Jin scolded Kame
“Can you see me laughing?”
Jin looked straight at Kame’s eyes and indeed the other one was looking really serious despite the smile tugging at the lips
“So kissing you was not just a dream” he whispered
Jin was looking calm on the outside but inside the little Jinjins in him was doing a tribal dance of thanks chanting a nonstop “Kazu, First Kiss, Kazu, First Kiss, Kazu, First Kiss, Kazu, First Kiss”
A smile blossomed in Jin’s face even though he still needs to remember the first kiss but he could make up for that and he hope Kame wouldn’t be too shocked with his actions
Kame saw Jin smirk and become very weary of what the other boy is planning, his eyes followed Jin’s every slow deliberate movement and he was somewhat surprise when the other boy pulled his chair closer to him
“How can you call me a thief honey?”
“Because you …” he didn’t finish what he was going to say when Jin suddenly swooped down to capture his lips for a kiss
It was a soft light kiss, it’s just a meeting of lips and it didn’t last too long
“Jin …” Kame is in a dazed
Jin’s heart thudded loud in his ears but tried to calm it down he is no way means finish he tried to act as if nothing happened when he asked “Yes babe you were saying?”
“Uhm …, you…, I mean …” Kame said incoherently
Then Jin did it again this time the kiss is much longer than the previous one, Kame felt Jin’s lips move against his own nibbling on his lower lip then Jin pulled back
“I am so going to kiss you back” Kame promised to himself waiting for the next kiss
“A little speechless sweetheart?” Jin teased
“No fair you …”
The third kiss was kind of a disappointment for Kame who has been planning to respond to Jin’s kisses. It’s like Jin knew what Kame is planning and just gave the other boy a smack on the lips
“I am not a thief Kazuya even though I can’t remember much of it I could say darling I just borrowed your first kiss” Jin stood up and preparing to leave the kitchen
“Jinjin” he breathed
“Now I have returned your first kiss with interest love” he winked at Kame
“Baka”
Jin gave a very cute goofy grin and he was left all alone in the kitchen too dazed by the kisses to move
“Jinjin untie me” he shouted when he remembered his tied hands
But he was surprise too see that he was no longer tied to the chair he just needs to tug the cloth a little and he wondered how Jin untie the know without him noticing
“Baka” he referred to himself
He is just happy to know that now their relationship took another level up and they are no longer just best friends, they are not a couple yet but they are heading to the right direction.
“Sweet baka”

“Kamenashi-kun where are you going?” Nabe his group assistant asked
“You can wrap up the meeting, Jin is at the garden waiting for me” he waved
The entire day there had been busy with a lot of activities and Jin and him hardly had time to be with each other’s company. The school’s festival is already coming up and since they’re on different groups they have to attend separates meetings.
“I love Jinjin, I love Jinjin” he singsonged
Kame skips happily toward their meeting place, Jin had slipped him a message during class that he would wait for him to finish and they could go home together. He is running a little late but he knows that Jin would still be there when he arrives. After what happened over the weekend they have now a mutual understanding that their relationship had already changed.
He entered the garden and went directly to Jin’s favorite place, the one in the center where a big tree was located, since he used the back entrance of the garden he could see that Jin was half leaning on the tree and half lying on the ground,
“Sleeping again?”
He plans to surprise the other boy so he approaches Jin quietly. But he was the one surprised, he thought that the other boy would be all alone and he can’t believed that he saw a girl leaning on Jin when he rounded the tree
“WHAT THE HELL”
