I went to the midnight showing of HP 5 last night (!) & it was surprisingly excellent. Without posting any spoilers I will say that you should read the book before watching the movie in order to really understand and enjoy it & understand it doesn't completely follow the book. I feel like a fan-girl. Neverless, this tuesday at 11:59 I'm going to see the new movie. I've finally pre-ordered the tickets to gaurentee me (& my mother who is my other fan-girl for a day).

Over the weekend I watched Marie-Antoinette & Volver. I found the first hour of Marie-Antoinette great (the filmography was impressive, the acting was good and I loved the modernization of it all), however, after the first hour it seems as though Sophia Coppola lost faith in the movie as everything (except the filmography -- that was amazing ( Read more... )
