Of the three, I was stirred most by the second. Its very descriptive, and I like the way you keep bringing different aspects of the rain/storm into it throughout, with different comparisons. A few wording tweaks, to make your ideas more clear and concise could make it even more powerful. I look forward to reading more of your work. :-)
