Sharing experiences and wisdom in a candid two-way communication forum seems to be a hallmark of your journal. As for sharing private things, we always do. I suppose the trick is to pick those that will appreciate and guard that information appropriately.
We are a social creature. And we learn some by ourselves, and more with others. With sharing of ideas and experiences, we add additional perspective and thought to our lives, and hopefully, grow.
Perspective. Balance. Step back and see what things look like from a different distance. :)
