Oh yay I'm glad I'm not the only adult with glow in the dark stars on my celing!! Well...actually they were just in the apartment, they were such a pain to take down that I haven't put them up in the house. And the only good thing about Yeah is the episode of Chapelle's Show that makes fun of Lil' Jon. I dunno if Japan (or Canada for that matter) has the Comedy Central channel, but Dave Chapelle has his own show on it that's a lot of sketch comedy and that kind of thing. It's basically hilarious. Anyhow, one of his bits is making fun of Lil' Jon because all he says in that song (and most of the rest of the time) is Yeah, What, and Ok. Anyways, I guess it's a bit of a step up from Britney and the Backstreet Boys, but still pretty low. :) Old Usher, on the other hand....I enjoy quite a lot. :)
While I was peeling off thousands of glow-in-the-dark stars, I was wondering how you could do it without having to go through so much work if you either wanted to redecorate or had to move or whatever. IF your ceiling wasn't ummm spackled (you know, all bumpy), then you could probably wallpaper your ceiling and put stars on there, then just rip the wallpaper down if you needed to/wanted to get rid of the stars. Heckuva lot of work to wallpaper a ceiling, but I'm sure it can be done. I wonder, too, if they sell wall paper pre-printed with glow-in-the-dark constellations and such.
Dave Chapelle?!?!!? Ew! I cannot stand him...him and Chris Rock...dislike. strongly. :) Usher though...mmmmm yum. Too bad he's such a player. *note to self--Rach, you're NOT in the same social circle* ;)
I am SOOOOO glad I live in Japan...if I wouldn't have found my wallet myself, almost guaranteed someone would've come knocking on my door to hand it to me--money intact. I read about why Japanese are so unbelievably honest (which I think is a VERY good thing) and it has to do with the deeply ingrained cultural conformity/adherence to honesty the former rulers demanded. I think dishonesty used to be punished by death (way way back when). Anyway...I'm just thankful that I got everything back. :)
