"And after years and years of asking..."

"...I finally said yes."

Okay, excuse the spoiler, but seriously, that is absolutely my favorite line from Tangled.  And if you think I'm an idiot...just listen to the delivery.  Brilliantly unexpected.

The flowers in "Blondie's" hair are so preeetteee...I will never get over it.  I'm just childishly mesmerized.

What beautiful graphics!

movies, plugs, quotables

It makes sense though right? Who wants to get in the way of living by getting married right after you get your freedom? :)

Was that your first time watching? :D
Did your inner 9 year old like it? :D

Nah, that was my third time XD

I just love the role reversal...you fully expect Flynn to say "SHE finally said yes" but he goes and switches it around on us. So fricken hilarious.

My 9 year old self totally loved it, except she would have loved it more if the trailer with her hair that kicks butt and moves on its own was part of the movie. I seriously love the idea of her hair coming to life and destroying opponents.

I think she's an incredibly likable heroine with the potential for great angst and melancholy, with real fighting spirit, and that whole pure heart thing. I also enjoy the roguish hero (tho I wish he had stayed roguish for a bit longer) with a lot of cracks in his confidence that he overcompensates for. It's an interesting mix and I find them a really cute couple.

Same for Tiana and Naveen -- really interesting in terms of couplings. Disney's totally back on track from its less-than-stellar pictures from a decade or more ago.

...and of course, the movie's just so damn pretteeeee...

:D :D :D :D

The boat scene and the "death" scene are still kind of overflowing with cheese, but even so, it's really fun to watch.

And to see Flynn slice her hair off like that...it's just a great moment for him. :)

PS: did you like how I poked my brother about the Tangled DVD that night? He totally bought it the day it came out. XD

THAT'S how it's done, son! :D

...and that's why I'm still a child being indulged by older siblings XD XD XD
