hello from Istanbul!

Just a quick entry--I´m in an internet cafe near my hotel. The flight here was exhausting--we waited over an hour to take off from JFK, so that added to the looooong flight. The weather here is warm and humid. The city is simply amazing--it is a bit overwhelming
