Wednesday night I drove home, and discovered roads covered in black ice. After being warned by the nice police man, and watching the (purple) convertible perform road ballet.... Let’s just say following distance of a semi or so is not always a bad thing.

Right, should you come over while we are likely to be using our firepit, I will suggest to iberian_wolf that it be moved into the yard away from the house and trees. ;)

What a rough week! Congrats on surviving it and on having such an understanding boyfriend! I am glad to hear that everyone is safe. If either of you need or want a hand with anything, let one of us know. My housemates are considerate and awesome that way, and I try to be as well :)
