zappo 3 books I wish I hadn't read:
I can't really think of a book that I wish I hadn't read... Of course there were a couple of books at uni that I really wanted to throw out the window, but I still learnt stuff from them...
7 books I wish I had read:
Sun Tzu: "The Art of War" -- Classic that seems to hold true in many contexts even today
Jules Verne: "Paris in the 20th century" -- I'd love to see Verne's vision of our society
Fyodor Dostoevsky: "Crime and Punishment" -- One of those have-to-read-books
Leo Tolstoy: "War and Peace" -- As above
August Strindberg: "Giftas" -- With regards to it's reputation, I'd like to read it and find out what all the fuss is about
William Gibson: "Count Zero" and "Mona Lisa Overdrive" -- The sequels to "Neuromancer"
9 books I'm glad I have read:
Jules Verne: "The Mysterious Island" -- My favourite since I was 12
Robert Heinlein: "Starship Troopers" -- Refreshing views on society
Jules Verne: "Eight Hundred Leauges on the Amazon" -- Sparked my interest in ciphers and codes
Jared Diamond: "Guns, germs and steel" -- A scientific answer to why people in Africa are poor
Agatha Christie: "And Then There Were None" -- The most excellent and genious plot ever
Margaret Atwood :"Oryx and Crake" -- Scary vision of the future
