I just finished reading Stendhal's The Red and the Black. SO FREAKING GOOD! There's nothing better than a book that has an eloquent, understated ending. I'm all about the endings. All I could do was flip back to the beginning and start reading it all over again. I wish I knew French so I could read the original.

Having taken a chunk of Spanish and little bit of French, I can see what she means about being confused. However, I have plenty of faith in your smarts so I'm sure you'd do fine. It's just a little tough getting out of the Spanish mold at first.

Umm... if you sent it to my Philly address, then not yet because I'm in CT. If you sent it to CT, then no - unless my mom is waiting to use it as ransom until I go see my grandpa... which is entirely possible.
