*Flashback*
On the eve of Super Junior’s enlistment to the army, (yes, SMEnt allowed them all to go together so that ELFs wouldn’t need to wait more than 2 years for everyone to comeback.) Shindong was doing ShimShimTaPa’s last broadcast with him as the DJ and the rest of the members were his special guests. Words of gratitude, goodbyes and assurance that they’ll be back were spoken to ELFs and all of SSTP’s listeners. Even though the members already shed buckets of tears on Young Street and SuKiRa, tears were still falling as they read the fans’ messages of encouragement and prayers.
At the last ten minutes of the broadcast, while everyone is trying their best not to fall apart, the door of the radio booth opened. All were shocked to see who came in. Since the broadcast was viewable, they didn’t expect her to come.
“Shindong Oppa! Surprise!!!” exclaimed the petite girl who came barging into SSTP’s radio booth.
“Woah! Nari-ah!” replied Shindong shocked to tears by his girlfriend’s sudden appearance.
Nari was holding a microphone that listeners/viewers were able to hear her soft voice. And the camera focused on her as she began to speak.
“Shindong Oppa, good luck on your enlistment! Please take care of yourself there as I won’t be there to take care of you. I promise, I’ll visit you on days they allow visitors and I’ll bring you your favourite foods. Don’t worry about me while you’re gone. I’ll always just be here waiting for you to come back. I love you so much! Just always remember that, arasseo?”
“I love you too so so much!” replied Shindong while holding back tears.
“Oppa, promise me that you’ll always think of me when you’re in the army.”
“Yes, yes, I promise! No doubt about that!”
“Oppa, I have one more thing to say…”
“What is it?” asked Shindong.
“Uhmmm… Mianhae, Oppa for not yet responding to your proposal. We were too young then and I wasn’t ready to face your fans that time. But now as you can see, I’m revealing myself for the first time for everyone to see.” Nari blabbered.
She continued, “What I’m trying to say is… Uhmmm… Oppa, could you please tell me your wish again? Sowoneul malhaebwa…”
Shindong then got up and walked towards Nari then knelt before her saying, “Nari-ah, I love you with all my heart. I wish you’ll marry me and be my wife.”
Nari then pulled Shindong up and kissed him and said with a smile “Your wish is granted.”
