Well the 40th birthday came and went without a plague of frogs or any other sign of the apocalypse:-) Unfortunately I had some tests scheduled for the following day which required me to abstain from chocolate. There's nothing to make up for:-) We shifted celebrations to yesterday anyway (had a picnic by the lake at lunchtime and a wonderful dinner out with friends in the evening).

As our drivers licence renewals are due on every divisible by 5 birthday, I had to get a new one this year. Fortunately I got the photo done the day before 50% of my hair fell out! LOL! Talk about timing... Sigh. The year *can* only get better...

yay, happy birthday. Glad you got through it without anything apocalyptic! Trust me, it's all good, the 40-whatevers. I shall drink to your health tonight, and tomorrow, and well, probably for the next week or two. :)
