you and me and ben drinking margaritas with his dad, and then drinking more tequila while watching greg the bunny.
that's one of my favorite nights the three of us have spent together.
also - my first memory of our interaction was the first day of phonathon training and we talked about france or the french language or something...french.

i remember the littlest things. for just one memory, i will say the mix tape you sent me in middle or high school. i'd shut my eyes in my tiny room in my tiny house in my tiny suburb in my tiny state and pretend i was cool like you, dancing to imogen heap and 'me and my charms' and squeeeeeeze my eyes shut and pretend i was sitting cross-legged on your floor in california and smoking pot and burning incense and doing yoga and lighting candles and talking to you at parties with your friend nina and doing other cool teenager stuff.
