we had a spectacularly eventful night last night - he almost died. Literally. . . but that's a story for another day!
That was a very uncomfortable moment of panic. After I read "literally" my brain had already contemplated how fast I could make a salad and drive to whichever hospital he happened to be occupying. All of this before the ellipsis ended.
Yeah, someone needs to beat me with a stick. Outside of random fright for my friends' lives...
Congratulations! (See, at least one good conversation did come out of physics class!) Congratulations and many hugs, and much goofy smiling on the part of myself and my husband. *GRIN*
Congrats, from me as opposed to via an intermediary.
And if I'm reading the subtleties in your post correctly, you should hang out with me in range more often. I'm forced to carry an epipen for my own reasons.
Thanks a bunch, and yeah, he did indeed nearly die of bee stings. :-P We should hang out more often anyway, not that you're in Chicago now and that plan is completely unattainable, of course. ;-P
Well, the rule doesn't say that the guy who caught the garter has to marry the girl that caught the bouquet! ;)
On another note ... my brain went on a weird ramble when I was waking up this morning, so you'll forgive me if this sounds really bizarre. I was thinking it would be hilarious if you actually got married on 5/3/09 as you were engaged on 8/6/7 ... especially if your name was Jenny. ;)

And I'm sorry I made your heart jump in your throat. :-P He's fine now, almost completely fine! He's just a little itchy. . .
