Does a plus account give you any picture space on LJ? If not, get a flickr account and upload your pictures there.
Then, all you have to do is click on the "all sizes" button above the picture you want to post, then choose the size you want to include (I suggest small or medium) and then flickr gives you the code that you just copy and paste into your LJ post.
Easy as pie!
As for the wedding, we would love to be there, but it just doesn't look feasible. Plane tickets for June from here are already astronomically expensive.

Thanks, I'll look into that when I find my camera.
And yeah. Brett and I pretty much figured that lots of people from far away would have a pretty hard time coming. I keep thinking that maybe we'll have an anniversary/re-affirming of vows sometime in 5, 10 years where we'll make SURE everyone can come - that'd be a blast! (though we may content ourselves with making an appearance at New Year's every once in a while - there are just so many people we both want to see, and who all want to see each other, NOT to find a time for all of us to do so somehow)
alrighty then. cool beans. maybe I'll use some pictures from the past until I get my camera in hand again.
and anyway: how ARE you, avilister? You're one of the people I miss most, but there's no doubt that we just failed miserably at seeing each other once you moved out! :-P I'll seek you out. . . SOMETIME. (running back and forth to NM all the time, and not much more time until the wedding, so I won't be around much, but we'll find time to see people SOMEhow.
It certainly didn't help that I spent the later quarter of last year on the late shift, effectively demolishing any social life I might have had.
I'm moving out of Norman soon, actually. Sometime in mid-June. Its going to be hard to fit in between all the weddings :P I'm actually planning to make a post soon with that, roughly where I'll be living (it is -very- close to where I work) and other general updates. I haven't posted in a long time, or at least not anything of significant note, of which that and a few other things qualify.
Seconding just learning basic html, though I've been happy with paintedover.com.
Once you and Brett get settled in Alaska I'd love to visit, it seems like such a dramatic change of scenery that just spending a week there would be a ball.
Everyone who can get their asses up there is welcome to come anytime. :-) That's exactly why we have a couple of air mattresses on the Target registry! Oh, and just in case Brett gets in trouble and I decide I DON'T want him to freeze to death outside in the doghouse. ;-}
The "scattering spread" of friends after college was incredibly painful for me, and so I'm right there with you. In the end, it's why I ended up in Texas and not in Maryland or Massachusetts. And I certainly don't regret my decision.
I find I miss Norman less and less as time goes on, however. The people, yes, but not the atmosphere or even the university (much).
That's awesome. Maybe you should talk to Jacob Mayfield. . . he might be coming too! (you did know Jacob in High School, yes? I am remembering correctry? I thought you two had both come to OU because of Savatore Champagne. . . am I right? am I wrong? :-)
Yes, probably so. You Colorado kids all look the same to me, what can I say? ;-) Jacob was only here for one semester before he decided to go back to CO and do the UC Boulder thing, so I'm not surprised you wouldn't remember him if you didn't have any reason to before!
