No. I'm most definitely not sitting at my desk writing Christmas cards instead of writing essays (still). No. I'm not alternating Diana Krall's deliciously-smooth-yet-disgusting-in-that-smooth-way jazz Christmas carols with The Chieftains' rowdy Irish Christmas songs and then alternating those with Nicki Minaj's remix of Beyoncè's "Single Ladies." Hey hey hey you, speaking of travel (small-scale), can we go to the beach some time in January? And maybe bring people who are delightful? And maybe watch it storm and make a fire and drink beer on the beach should it happen to not be storming for a little while?

OH and I would really like your Chieftans. Because I only have two songs right now. And that's sadness.

Then Merry Christmas early, it's comin' yer way. Also, I appreciate the fact that you asked me about the coast -- but you KNOW I want to go absolutely anytime, anytime, anytime. So, yes. Yesyesyes. We'll sort it out when I'm back?

I LOVE the Bells of Dublin. My dad has played that every Christmas as far back as i can remember. I think St. Stephen's Day Murders is my favorite song off that album.

ME TOOOOOOOO. How are you?! Getting excited for Ireland? What university will you be at? My program here is through Sarah Lawrence. These SLC kids typically study abroad all of their junior year, so my friend Leslie (of SLC origin) will be on a Reed program at University of Cork next semester. And I'll be in Dublin for Christmas, so I'll be sure to tell you about any discoveries I make or adventures I have. Also, when do you leave?! Because I'm surely going to visit Corvallis before starting school. I'll be down sometime between the 1st and the 25th. You tell me when you'll be gone and I'll be sure to hit you up before then.
