warning: this is political

so today a thought came into my mind, about 6 years ago president clinton was asked an inappropriate question about his personal life. i think we all know what it was, he denied this allegation and when the truth came out the first thing everyone wanted to do was impeach him, and the process started ( Read more... )

maybe you didn't happen to realize that the last time our country got attacked, 25,000 soldiers lost their lives in one night in europe seeking vengeance. in afghanistan and iraq, only 1,500 us and coalition have died TOTAL in 3 YEARS. stop playing the sympathy card, we're playing a safe war, relatively speaking. iraq has been harboring terrorists, haven't you seen the beheadings? they are iraqis. why do you think saddam ran and hid when he was given an ultimatum? he was given an ultimatum, didn't respond... thats cause to go to war, regardless. even kerry admitted that saddam and iraq was a threat.

worst thing to happen to america? whoa there.

let me fabricate (like the dems did this election) reasons why he would be "the worst" thing to happen to america.

1) the war. my response? see the post above.
2) abortion. my response? people need to be more responsible anyways, but bush enacted anti-PBA laws last time around, which even kerry said that PBA is cruel and unjustified.
3) gay marriage. kerry didn't support gay marriage, he supported unions, just like bush does.
4) the economy. and socialism would help this? no. at a time when we have economical commitments to the war, we can't go around and raise taxes (which kerry promised he would) so that we can give away healthcare. thats not what our country needs right now, and that doesnt make bush evil or whatever for not giving away healthcare... its been like that for a long time.

i really dont know where you people get these ideas that he's evil, that hes the worst thing that's happened to america... honestly. stop using buzzwords to prove your point. use facts.

The reason everyone can sidestep that question of whether or not the war in Iraq was just..Is the fact that NO ONE is paying for it...

Tax cuts tax cuts tax cuts...

Where the fuck is the money coming from to pay for this god damn war if all of our taxes are being cut?

the first valid argument against the war i've heard.

my response... what happens to the economy if you raise taxes during a war? it crashes.

I would just like to point out to all of you that he didn't just get re-elected because he was Christian. Everyone's entitled to their own views and their own opinions. I'm not bashing anybody who voted for Kerry even though I voted for Bush.

I just wanted to make sure that you guys aren't spouting off rhetorical comments as facts. The man wasn't re-elected because he is Christian.

seriously. kerry is a catholic...which is denomination of the christian faith. religion may have played a role in this election but it wasn't the only thing.

We're not all misinformed, just partially informed.

..and from my partially inform brain i deduct that this president of ours has placed 'moral values' above intelligence. Values that do not represent me, or 55 million other people. You just can't run a democracy this way.

bwahhhhh!
