How disgusting. That these curses would see it fit to show these. Regardless of whether or not these memories are real, it still doesn't justify having them shown in the open like this, for everyone to see, and mock, and point at.

To what end are these curses being brought upon us? For what despicable gains?

For the ones who have already seen the event at hand. Some of us, including myself, have had the misfortune of having presumed events of our lives for all to see.

It's a possibility I'm reluctant to completely discard. Everything has its humble beginnings, after all. These curses may be a precursor to something else.
