We've recently had two very contrasting, but both good dining experiences.

Sounds very yummy!

And congrats on 2.5 years! I'm glad you did something fun to celebrate. For our 1 year wedding anniversary, Joel and I went up to the Blue Marlin, and while I've never, before or since, come close to spending that much on dinner for two people, it was well worth it. Good food, and after all, you only celebrate 2.5 years of going out/1 year of marriage once! (hopefully).

I love chocolate/banana combo.

Each of my L'Etoile experiences has been great, but it's been a while since I've been there! Dessert/drinks is a nice combo. I'd also like to try out Sucre some time.

Is Saffron a particular ethnicity? Sounds great (I love ginger) and such good service! Too bad I don't go to Milwaukee often.

Saffron is Indian food.

We took a look at Sucre, but it didn't have the appeal we thought it would have. Maybe we should check back to see if the menu has changed at all.
