I've gotten behind on uploading photos. I had photos back from Easter breakfast still on the camera and not the computer. This has been remedied. To expedite posting a journal entry with them, I'm posting unedited, mostly uncropped pictures.

YOW! What a lot of lovely dishes! And maybe I have just been cruising Cake Wrecks a little too much lately, but your cakes are adorable, especially the baby cake. Spray color pretty!

I also think the journal idea is a really good one. You could even put notes as to who came to dinner, what movie you watched afterwards, the funny quote of the evening, etc. and it would be a real memory treat in the distant future!

The cake decoration is actually just sugar dust with a stencil. I wouldn't recommend trying it with frosting, though, it was quite painful to fix it to smooth with the colored sugar after the stencil took a bunch of frosting with it! I'll keep the stencils for brownies and cheesecake though; they shouldn't stick to that so badly.
