so an otherwise incredibly monotonous evening (we had maybe 5 sales the whole night, in four long hours, yesh) was saved by the appearance of many of my beloved johnnie-friends ( johnnie-philos). there was even an encounter with a witchy unhappy bitchy craphead of a person, witnessed by some of said posse', who afterwards made me feel much better ( Read more... )

ah, yes. that is wonderful. I am glad you are enjoying reading the book.... have you by any chance looked over the "wherever you go, there you are" book? its a similar take, but i love how he brings in westerners, like emerson.

It's good to see that you're back on this bus and stuff... and I don't really think that the stuff you say is any harder to read than the stuff that Genna says. Don't worry about doing comparisons anyway, and just evolve your entries as your entries evolve.

it wasnt a comparision as much as it was an awareness. i am aware of the fact that genna, having been a writer for years now, has developed her style in a way that is admirable. by no means to i hope to have a style just like hers, i simply want to come to a place where i feel like my stuff is engaging.
