I totally agree about the whole "lesbian" thing. That wouldn't make anything easier. Besides just being a steriotype, not really admitting of broad generalizations (no pun intended), it's just not true that being gay is the easy alternative to being straight. I don't think there's anything easier about it. Not at St. John's, and especially not at some other schools I could name. The only real "advantage" I see to knowing you're a lesbian, besides not having to worry about getting pregnant under normal "heightened" circumstances, is that you have knowledge of who you are, sexually. Just because you crossed to the other side doesn't mean you'll all-of-a-sudden be getting lots of play. That's just silly.
ah well, Becca. Sorry to hear about the Ex. Seems like a real case of dumbass. Chin up, don't let it get to you too much!
