I the brand name is Mehron, "Liquid Makeup". It's water soluble, or I just call it water based. You can probably find it in art stores, that's where I found this stuff. For theatre you can probably get better, grease based, more expensive but it doesn't crack like that.
Another brand which I'm not too crazy about, depends on the person I guess, is Snazaroo. It comes in the shape of a puck and is hard, you add water to soften it up to paint with. I just find it's hard getting the right amount of water and to get it right.
You talking about the water based stuff? Just want to make sure we are talking about the same because they make all kinds of makeup. Yes, apply in 4 or so coats.
Well, dude, you certainly rock. I'm glad you're my photographer... you have a great eye. hee hee I love this picture. Art, editorial, whatever you call it... reminds me of something you'd see in National Geographic. Keep up the good work. We'll have to do this more often.
True, it looks tribal a little, could very well be in NG. We could submit it and tell them it's from the Übergal tribe known for their hunting skills... they hunt down photographers. :-D
Yes, this shoot was delicious, when ever you're ready give me a shout. ;-)

I love the texture of the paint on the skin, and the eyes stand out beautifully.
I absolutely love this..
