Oh man, normally I would be all over a carrot cake cupcake. But too-sweet icing can really kill a carrot cake--I don't know why people always try to sweeten it so much. Carrots have so much sugar in them already.
Hey there! You know, before I started this cupcake log, I don't think I ever would have noticed that the icing was too sweet for the cake. I used to just think the sweeter the better. I feel like a whole new world has opened up! And this is way late, but congrats on a successful run of To Kill a Mockingbird!! I know this play just ended, but does your company already have a new play in the works?
I'm actually not much of a sweets person, myself. I like savory foods. So I want anything sweet that I eat to be pretty refined and not just a mass of sugar. The one exception are those grocery store cookies with the white icing. They're a weakness. :P
We're already up to our ears in the production of Carousel. :)
