I'm actually a new member so hi, I'm Yuuri =) I was a LuluxShirley fan since the beginning of Code Geass =) I don't know why, but there's something about C.C. and Kallen that really annoys me (maybe it's all those slutty moments?). Although I'm starting to like Kallen more now, but C.C. >< Don't hate please.....>.Anyways, I watched episode 13 ( Read more... )

Of course i hate that they kill one of my fav charas {and my potentially ship with it} but what i hate more is that you could really see on this episode, how much could Shirley do for Lulu in the future. He could really get him, understand him. {{without Lulu telling her anything, she figured that the phone call was troublesome, took Suzaku away and also talked to him about forgiveness meaning she could understand that he and Lulu were in bad terms}}
So what saddens me more, is Shirley had so much to do in the future and screw that now. ~___~

Yes, I completely agree with you. Shirley would've kept Lulu very happy. And remember, they have recently became a couple at their school (a couple that everyone approved of too). If Shirley hadn't been killed they probably might've fulfilled our desires and lived up to that!

I also hate Rolo now I mean, why on earth would you kill a close friend of your brother?! Even if she DID know Zero's true identity. She even said on the spot that she wanted to help Lulu. It's unreasonable to kill someone who wants to help. That's the part I hated most.

Rolo got a real bad brother complex and it's clear that he cannot control his temper at all. He has no hesitation to kill everyone he considers a threat. And i don't think he really loves Lulu, he is just obssesed with him. Kinda like wicked or something. Too bad that Shirley was the victim. ;___;

Yes, the dreaded Rolo brother complex @.@ That has been annoying me from the start. He's so desperate for love that he's obsessed with Lulu. But it annoyed me because she wanted to help. Although Rolo would've probably done that to anyone who knew Zero's identity, whether their intentions were good or not. But WHY Sunrise?! Why SHIRLEY?! T-T

I don't recall any slutty moments for Kallen OR C.C., to be completely honest. Care to elaborate?

Ahh, I remember how I became a LuluShirley fan. xD I originally didn't have an opinion, and I was very pro-LuluC.C. (though I still am XD), but I kept on seeing stuff about them and I really watched the episodes and began to love their relationship.

I cried a lot when she died. And I am really pissed at Rolo - I think Shirley was my favorite character, so it's just insanely heart breaking. And I really wonder what Lelouch is going to do.

About the slutty moments thing, it's just that Code Geass tends to use the girls for sex appeal sometimes and they tend to use Kallen and C.C. most of the time for that. For example, when Kallen was inside that costume at the school festival, she was wearing some very revealing clothes. Another time was when C.C. I think changed out of her uniform and she was lying on the couch, also in very revealing clothes (though I admit they have used Shirley before but not as much).

Ah, okay, that's what you meant. XD I prefer to think of those times as honest. (And of course *coughfanservicecough*)

But EVERYONE'S exploited in CG. XD Like when you see all the girls in bath, and Shirley in her swimsuit all the time...I think they mostly don't get as much TIME for fanservice with the other characters.

Kallen is definately easiest, with her plugsuitness, and C.C. gets enough screentime to get a few moments like turn 11 (which I admit, when she stripped like that and we got the shots from behind her, I was surprised). I'm pretty sure it was all because of her personality - she's very laid back, especially around Lelouch...and she's stripped in front of him before, though it's never really been shown like that.

Anyways, LuluShirley is just so incredibly heart breaking. ;___;

We should start a club..."WE HATE SUNRISE!" XD

After Turn 12 I was excited to see more of the couple. My hopes were up only be shot down. Shirley, like mentioned before, understood him and was ready to do whatever regardless of the past.
Deep down inside I knew something was going to happen to her...though I wasn't expecting it so soon. I thought after some development like Lelouch's reaction to her returned memories then it would happen. I'm pissed off it was so early. It was rushed! They just wanted to get it out of the way quickly. I like that she confessed and I love his scream at the end that really touched me...though I was hoping to hear certain words from Lelouch. *coughIloveyoucough* I'm expecting a flashback from Rollo when he killed her. I'm sure he'll think about it when he sees his brother crying over her death. I can't hate Rollo...I still like that little bastard and I SORT of understand why he did it. Damn complex..

For some reason my comment was cut off...

I don't think this is the last we hear of Shirley. She'll come up again in flashbacks. Her death is another reason for Lelouch to fight especially aganist V.V who is pulling all the strings. He's seeking revenge and I'm waiting for the next episode with fingers crossed that we get more of his feelings for her. I'm still lost in what he actually feels for her. How much more than friend? Like a lover or a sister? I, of course, want the former one.

And now I don't remember what else I wrote on this...anyways..
Welcome!!!

Like a lover. Definitely.
Must I back up my answer with examples or is it obvious enough?

I was actually expecting Shirley's death. Why? Spoilers =x
Though I kept telling myself that, it's just a rumour, let's hope she doesn't really die. And then someone else came along and said that the news of Shirley's death in Turn 13 was from the TV Station so that completely brought my hopes down. But, again, I convinced myself it was just a rumour, but I think deep down I knew it was going to happen .____.
