My very first tutorial.
Going from this to this.
Done with adobe photoshop 7.0, selective colouring included, non-translatable.

First, I started off with this picture of bjork.

I then cropped and rotated it to the way I liked.

Duplicate the base & set to screen at 100%.

New adjustment layer: selective colouring.
neutral;
-49, -35, 25, -23

New adjustment layer: selective colouring.
reds;
-100, 0, 60, 0
yellows;
7, 29, -45, 0
neutrals;
-27, 18, 13, -10

New adjustment layer: Curves.
RGB;
point 001, input: 80 output: 97
point 002, input: 177 output 177

Make a new layer and fill with B7D6FF.
Set that to colour burn, 75%

I used this texture made by
sanami276 set to linear burn, 70%.
 Then I added the box, the text and the flower brush by
sanami276 in the colour D0471E.
(You'll probably have to change the settings for whatever picture you're using.) 
In the end we get : THIS
