"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Snow everywhere in the northern hemisphere. Here, too, it's been snowing nearly continously for the past three days. Pictures from Marburg and Großseelheim, taken with the E-P1 + 14-42mm kit lens and adapted OM 50/1.8.

Großseelheim covered in snow. E-P1 + M.Zuiko 14-42/3.5-5.6 @ 14mm, f/9, 1/320 sec., ISO 200

Well, that sounds like a reasonable expectation! :-)

I believe you are still in Australia? How are you holding up there? I don't read my LJ friends' blogs anymore, sorry for being so ignorant ...

Emil is getting close to being one year old, and I wonder where the past year has gone. He was so small when he was born, and now he's such a sweet little boy ... (yes, yes, I am going to post some pictures, I promise ...)
We're doing quite fine, I'm still at Marburg University, now working in a linguistic project and giving classes, which is fun :-) What are you doing at the moment?

As of today, the snow started to melt again. So no white christmas this year, again. I believe that's something you can absolutely forget about now, right? ;-)

I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year!

That's (almost) all very good to hear! I only wish you a more adventurous job for the future :-)

It's funny that you now have a step-daughter, I remember you saying (well, I guess that was some five years ago) that you never wanted children ... ;-) I hope the two of you get along well.

Oh, we ARE married, we married last August. In Austria, yes. I guess I should post some pictures of that, too, eh? (I'll do it as a friends-only post then, since I don't want everybody to be able to sneak around in my private life [anymore] ...) It was very nice there, and almost everybody from our family (except for some grandparents) were there. We spent another two weeks there and enjoyed the good weather and the beautiful landscapes. That's a lot of "there"s in three sentences ...

So long!

P.S.: It's very nice to be in contact with you again! :-)
