Diving right in...

I've been taking a scuba refresher course with Gary at Force-E in Pompano Beach over the past week and today I did my first 2-tank dive. This means that I used one tank of air on one dive and the second tank on the second dive. That is so cool. I want to take a scuba class someday! I take it you didn't see any nurse sharks?

No, I didn't. A woman in my group, Amy, ducked her head underwater and said that she'd seen something, perhaps a nurse shark When I did the same thing, I saw only the reef.

It's beyond ironic that I have to go to Sea World to see actual sharks swimming freely, yet I live in Florida. A peninsula. With saltwater damn near everywhere.

That sounds like a wonderful experience. I've never done anything like that before and I'd be kind of scared of doing so, to be honest.

Scuba diving seems scary only at first. Once you get used to the equipment and relax and breathe (the first rule of diving is never hold your breath), you're fine.
