I admit that I do wonder some days. Today, for example, I awoke to a world so frigid, so utterly unihabitible that I still ache at the thought. The world outside was that of a terrible alien landscape: cars were covered in ice, people were belching out steam as they gasped for air, wildlife was nowhere to be seen. Where is my mild Georgia winter? I asked myself. How am I supposed to drive a car encrusted in ice? It was as if I had been taken in the night, by crime or by death, to a barren place far from my mild, lush home. Neither Sarte nor Benatar got it right: hell is Minnesota.
I hope you're staying warm, wherever you might be these days.
are you still still alive? I haven't talked to you in forevers. What is your email again? if you do not want to put it on the internets you can just send something to me via chris (at) importantlife (dot) net.
