Yeh well, with spaceman getting a little over-excited, someone's got to :)
Thanks! Ah... I also have a mini epilogue. Yep, this really does go on forever! People will start offering me large sums of money to STOP WITH THE NEVER-ENDING FIC soon enough :P
I thought old Hector was okay. *slaps the Doctor a bit for being an idiot* That guy was furtively sneaking around and he had suspiciously advanced technology! lol. I had thought the Doctor was just play-acting to go along with Hector's story and would have a back-up plan up his sleeve.
“Very well,” said Hector, beginning to pace up and down the room. “As you walked so docilely into my trap, I think I will tell you.” Nooooooooo! The List, Hector! Read the List! This is not Show & Tell. ... uhm, yeah. Anyway.
ooh, I like the description of the voyage the refugees took.
Poor Hector though. Poor little misfit. Still doesn't excuse killing a few thousand people but at the same time : awwww *pets poor little Hector*
“Sometimes,” said Donna, shaking her head. “I wonder how you fit all of that stuff in your head. I mean, I’ve felt what it’s like and whoa! It’s so noisy inside your brain!” It's so something she would say. *grins*
“We’re still tied up in chains, dumbo…” *hugs Donna* Don't ever change! ILU
( ... )
Aw, but Hector was nice! Perhaps the Doctor was a bit preoccupied with the Donna situation...
I know, I'm well aware that I've fallen into the trap of writing the typical Evil Overlord monologue that inevitable leads to the destruction of said evil overlord :) But to be honest, there's just no denying that it's the most useful (if tired and cliched) plot device available!
