An honest question to all.

How does one improve their self esteem?

And I ask this in all honesty.

I like who I am on the inside, but not on the outside.

How can I change that?

Hey Laura,

My suggestion to you is to take a half hour to an hour every day or every week and do something to take care of yourself be it a bubble bath or meditation time or a walk or something that you do by yourself for yourself. Make it a priority over school and friends and everything else (I mean really... what's an hour a week?) and I think you'll start seeing yourself in a new light. It's a committment, and saying no to what other people want you to do is difficult, but I think you'll be better for it.

Just my two cents. This semester I've been meditating for an hour every day, and while I'm sad that that means I can go dancing until midnight when I go out, I'm feeling better about living... so I'd say that's worth it! ^_^
