Has it ever happened to you that posts (from the same person) stopped showing up on your friends page? I received the notifications for the posts, but they didn't appear on the page. I don't filter my friends page, so I have no idea what's going on.
Any suggestions?

And while I'm at it, I wanna thank colorthenight for the card I received yesterday ( Read more... )

Re the Defriending I have had it happen to me it happens sadly

But if you feel you deserve or want an explanation send them a message and ask them why.

Kinda rude that you wake up to that happening but like I said it has happened to me in the past and I tried messaging and emailing them and got no reply back only when months later I defriended someone on there Flist after well I got accused of Being "Batshit crazy" did the truth come out why she had defriended my "Crazy Ass" so yah

Oh, btw, you're her friend, too. So do you see wake_upsunshine's post she posted about an hour ago on your friends page? Could you check, please. I really wanna know if it's a glitch on my end or lj's. ;)

Hmm, it doesn't show up even when you go back to the back pages of your flist? Cos sometimes when the user post the entry as a draft and then post it, it will be a little back dated so it didn't appear on your flist but it will appear later on when you browse your flist again? LOL I don't know how to explain and I'm not too sure if this is the reason why also.

Yeah, I skipped 100 post, but I'm still unable to find the post. Did you mean that? ;)
I already searched the FAQ page for answers, but the only thing they suggested was to clear the cache, did that, but no improvement. Weird, sighs.

LOL it's amazing you could even understand me. :p But yeah, that's what I meant. It IS weird. Maybe try asking the user herself? Or maybe try defriending and friending back?

I just found out that it's not only me. One of my friends is her friend too and she can't see the post on her flist either, so I guess it's an LJ bug or something. But, yeah, I'll contact her.

It happens to me too sometimes. I skim the f-list of someone else (when I'm bored I do things like these) and found a post of a friend of mine that wasn't in *my* f-list. And usually doesn't appear for hours if ever! I have no idea why though...

Oh, I see. Normally, I don't get notifications for posts, but this no-show-on-the-flist-problem is new to me.

Oh, no need to thank me, I didn't do much. ;) I was just curious if it was my server or an LJ problem.
I'm glad it works now and people are able to see your entries again.

Oh good, I'm so glad you got it! I get nervous sending things out of the country, lol, because I have no idea how the post office works... and I did it all electronically!

And I figured the least I could do was write everyone a nice personal message since I was so late sending them out! ♥ And thanks for the comment on my writing. I'm a lefty, so everyone seems to automatically think I'm going to have terrible writing :X I have no idea what that's about!
