Different intern, same shitty taste in music. Sappy Christmas songs? Seriously? Someone shoot me please. Or him. Christ, I'm supposed to get some work done here, not constantly fear that my ears might fall off.
No one should be surprised if his speakers magically vanish during his lunch break.

Maybe I should wear this shirt on Monday ( Read more... )

holiday cards, keep your shitty music to yourself, other playgrounds, rant

Yay! I'm so happy the card arrived!! The man at the post office had guaranteed they would all arrive in the space of 10 days but I didn't imagine it could take 4 days to a card to arrive! *iz happy*

BTW, that shirt is brilliant ;P

*hugs*

4 days is pretty fast. *applauds postal services*

I'd love to buy the shirt, but haven't found the "register now" button on the site yet, lol. Go me!

Hahahahaha omg what is up with the interns at your place?! HOW OLD ARE THESE PEOPLE!? Damn, it's like you need to screen these people first with some kind of music test or something.

I know, right?! I'm forced to work with musically illiterate people. Woe!
These people are in their early/mid twenties, they should know better.

you need to screen these people first with some kind of music test or something.
Yeah, like, I don't care that you graduated top of your class at this fancy elite university, SHOW ME YOUR IPOD! Hahaha.
Oh Pixie, I wish you were my co-worker, we'd get along so well. <3

OMG IKR HAHAHA. I mean like, this is totally shallow or you know, whatever, but I totally judge people by the music they listen to haha! Dude, I wish everyone in fandom/bandom is my co-worker. We'll probably get nothing done at work though lmao we'll be too busy flailing over things. WOULDN'T THAT BE AWESOME THOUGH?? I'd go to work everyday without fail. xD

I'm afraid I do that too. OMG, you and I would be the intern's worst nightmare. *evil laugh* We're such snobs. XD But, seriously, if I ask someone what kind of music they listen to and they answer 'hmm, dunno, whatever is on the radio' I can't help but wonder if they sold their souls and/or personality on ebay.

Why not tell them to turn it off? You're further up the food chain, after all.

You know what's definitely one of the inner circles of hell? Squeezing yourself through throngs of Christmas shoppers, every single one of them grumpy and stressed out, to the mall's idea of soothing and seasonal music aka "Last Christmas" by Wham, yes. I was stuck between wanting to laugh hysterically and the urge to cry.

I'm gonna develop some sort of PTSD, I just know it. And I haven't even done half of my Christmas shopping yet ;_;

Ohhh, hierarchy. Right!

Yes, those Christmas shoppers, how I love them. Especially those, who believe that regular showers aren't mandatory. Yikes.

I see, I see, you're a last-minute xmas present person, huh? XD

Not really, I think.
Christmas has just come too quickly for me this year, so my shopping awareness is majorly jet-lagging.

Also, I haven't really had time so far to enjoy the Christmas vibe and get into the spirit, so I'm overall not in tune with the season yet.

TRAGIC, ISN'T IT?!

I'm not in the spirit either. It's not even snowing, I mean, come on! Is it snowing in Vienna? My sister said it snowed last week, but she lives faaar away from you, so.
Yes, Christmas has - once again - come too quickly, but I was prepared this year, ha! Plus, I had an uber-productivity rush last weekend, no idea where it came from, but it was whoa. ;D

TRAGIC IT IS!!
