I remember one time talking about going to or meeting Gale with someone and they were like "who is that" and I told them and they knew the show..I was totally surprised by that because they were male and straight..but I LOVED IT all the same.

Sometimes my job rocks too..especially when the guys were talking about "slash" and knew what it was..they'd been in the X-Files fandom.
