Hawaii must be awesome. I'm glad you are back safe and I'm curious what the pictures are like. Is the ocean really "turquoise" (however you spell it)?

A lot of it was, at different parts of the island. The part I was in was cloudy and very reefy/rocky. But it was fun all the same until you get a bit mouthful of salt water :) I mainly lived in the pools.

NINE HOURS?! Guess I'll never see Hawaii! That's insane. I think I'd die.

For you it would be longer too! I actually welcomed the lay overs, because it broke it up. From LA to maui it was five hours straight all over the Pacific. The way over I watched The Manchurian Candidate and was able to forget I was flying. On the way home they showed Anchorman but I slept instead. It was SO worth it though. Shawn and I figure we'll honeymoon there because we are so in love!
