I was watching live when it happened and the look on Mike Myers' face was priceless.

He was so succint too: George Bush doesn't care about black people.

It wasn't disgusting, I think it's true what he said. And he's honest, if truth is disgusting... damn this world.

The censorship is what's disgusting. I'm surprised the frustration of people who were stranded and hatin Bush got through in the media.

Instead of calling the Red Cross telephone lines with promises of donations, people filled the lines with complaints about West's remarks.

If that's true, doesn't that defeat the purpose?

I don't think expressing your opinion in whatever form ever defeats any purpose. Without it where would we be? In bush country, that's where.

I meant, if more calls where made to complain about what he said, than calls for donations, that didn't help much.

Probably. But I haven't heard that it deterred people from donating, or tying up the lines. I would have to imagine there were just as many calls in support of him and in anger of them prempting his comments on the west coast broadcast.

I seriously almost wet my pants when he said that Bush didn't care about black people. The looks on Mike Myers' and Chris Tucker's faces were hysterical. I do believe that is the first time Chris Tucker has been speechless in his life. It still gives me a giggle to think about it....
