Those are cakes?! :D Wow. I'm a big fan of plants and cakes. This seems to be a good choice.

Exactly!! It was really super fun. My uncle said I outdid myself. I like to do that once in awhile.

Of course you do! A celebration cake baked inside a terra cotta pot! What bride to be wouldn't want one?!

Good god, I still can't get used to the sound of that, haha! Come over and make me one? I even have some fresh mint cut from my mom's herb garden that you can use for garnish. ;)

I used just regular terra cotta pots (3") and NEW. You want the recipe? I can copy it and send it with the cds I have burned for you and waiting. I have a paper one where I've collected pictures and said what it was and what book it came out of for reference. I've neglected it lately though.

Would heart the recipe!
I have a recipe journal, paper, as well. But no photos, unless they are from mags. I used to be all over it.

I would so be interested in any 'vegan' main course recipes you might like to share. I am always struggling with the 'no dairy' and finding something completely Yummy. I can do eggs, just no milk. Hrumph. Have yet to try goat cheese, as it just sounds scarey, but some who are highly allergic to milk can do goat. Hmmm...
Do you do Vegan or Vegitarian mostly? =)

We are both militant vegetarian/vegans. Me = vegetarian and Shawn = vegan. He's even the type of vegan that doesn't do honey, it's all or nothing. This boy has major convictions. When I do some catering I mostly do cakes and pastries, things like that, but I also dabble in vegetarian/vegan. I just don't know how to cook meat. I've been vegetarian 10 years now and before that I never really cooked with meat, I've been doing the baking thing since I could stand with my grandma.

I'll see what I can come up with for you. I think sometimes its best not to know where cheeses come from. I'm right there with you... I'm not even a fan of soft cheeses really.
