if it's not showing you recent updates, try hitting refresh. If that doesn't work, try going to your own journal and pressing refresh, used to work for me all the time.
nope--not that. it only shoes the bottom of 1 friend lj entry--just the comment, read comments, and link part. and it happens spontaneously for 3 days at a time and then is fine again. really annoying
