*cough* On a more literary note, the writing and characterizations were excellent. Being a bit of a newbie to participating in the fandom, I'm probably not the best authority on the latter... but still. >.> Prose-wise, I was a given pause a few times. But I'm a nit-picky person.

Btw, "Skwisgaar was trying to fix it by hitting it with a toaster, choking out a sob of effort with each clanging strike." killed me. The whole flashback with the band and the van being broken forever... fucking loved it.
