So, the other day, I read this really awful poem about feelings where all the most clichéd words rhymed and shiz. Then I found an old poem I'd written when I was about thirteen and - WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT? - they were almost identical!

Is there some kind of secret template embedded within all of our genetic material, commanding us to rhyme "light" ( Read more... )

Wooooah. I was totally listening to Architecture in Helsinki and José González in the bibliothèque yesterday, whilst I was revising for my forensics exam (Did you know that a heroin addict needs £10,000/year to fund their habit? I just thought I'd share that tidbit).

So yes, WIN!

I would verily much appreciate if I could hit you up for a letter. Thank you kindly.

Go mental in Oxford Circus. MENTAL.

Peace out.

Well, I can shop for films and music, that's for sure. Although, I am planning on loading my summertime "wardrobe" with shorts a-plenty. Who doesn't love shorts? They're the funnest type of clothing. (Funnest is a word)

And I will certinally check out your blog. How have YOU been?

Heart It Races ... I wasn't so keen on the Architecture in Helsinki version, I kinda got into it about half way through but I'm not sure I could listen to it a lot; I did like the Dr Dog version a lot more.

I like the Cat Power song. I think you were the person who introduced me to her in the first place.

Sufjan Stevens and Neil Diamond - yep, I like those.

I didn't have either version of Heartbeats. I think I prefer the Jose Gonzalez version, the other seemed a bit whiney.

You might not have wanted to know all that but never mind! ;-P

No, it was excellent. I am happy to hear your feedback and I'm SHOCKED you didn't already have the José González version?!?!!?!?

Thanks for the letter, by the by. And I like your picture.
