Today was Oxford Circus day (I had to really make a massive effort not to start that sentence with, "So..." and it feels uncomfortable and horrible ( Read more... )

Woah, Jade, woah.... how exciting! How do you decide what to listen to first?!

You can't escape the 'SO'! It has tightened its vice-like grip around you and you're squished somewhere between the S and the O!

Hmm...I don't know what it is about you that makes me start talking a load of nonsense....

That's a good thing! I don't know what it is about the SO!

I did try and stop it, but I felt unsafe without it. It's much nicer, I reckon, to start with the "So..." because it sounds more like you're carrying on a conversation with someone, which is a better thing for Livejournal to be.

I listened to the Camille Saint-Saens first. Then the Gomez cd and now I'm listening to Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Gospel! YEAH!

Hehe, yes I do like to talk nonsense a lot of the time - makes the world far more interesting.

I totally agree about the 'So...' When I start any other way, it feels like I've just walked up to someone in the street and started telling them about my life, when they have no idea who I am.

Ooh, Gospel eh? Are you clapping your hands and stepping from side to side?

Oh man, you know, I should. What am I doing sitting here like a chump? I should be swaying to the rhythm of the Lord.

Wow, you must be spoilt for choice! I once put through 119 articles of clothing at Primark in a single transaction, removing all those hangers wasn't fun!

Finding Nemo, I might just watch that now! "I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine. And he shall be my Squishy."

Pixar films are just a necessary staple. I was torn between getting Finding Nemo or Monsters Inc (it's buy one get one free on most Disney films right now) and got Finding Nemo, knowing I'll probably get Monsters Inc. some time in the coming week. Possibly with Toy Story 2 or with The Aristocats. OR...

See the slippery slope?

This is not good for my finances.
