So Belgium was really quite cool and Radiohead was awesome and Neil Young was entirely excellent, despite playing mostly songs from his newer, crapper albums, and Beck was great, despite being a Scientologist.

DeVotchKa - they did the music to Little Miss Sunshine, right?

I could have told you that about hostels! There's something very exciting about turning up in a city having no idea where you'll be staying though. OI had a similiar issue when I got snowed in, fortunately no one could get into town either, so crisis was avoided.

Y Tu Mamá También is always on sale at HMV. You'll have to have another mad spending spree before leaving! Are you leaving for university?

Hey cool - where/when did you get snowed in? And yeah, it is much more fun to have things left to chance. I think we all felt a bit bad for being so shit when Max was crippled the way he was. If that had been okay, I think we'd all be much more willing to just be like - well, let's just chill out and drink and see what happens.

But whatevs!

I pretty much load up on staff sales every other day. It's epic. I bought Arrested Development the other day because Season One is on sale. The most awesome thing is that I can check price adjustments and see if things are going to be cheaper or more expensive in a couple of days, and then decide when I'm going to buy shiz.

And yep - DeVotchKa did most of the soundtrack to Little Miss Sunshine, except for two Sufjan Stevens songs. And some of it had Mychael Danna input.

In Queenstown, NZ. Proper snow, not the smattering we get here if we're lucky! :)

So you get discount off discounted stuff too? That's like awesome! :)
