Hi everyone! As I'm sure most of you are aware, tinypic are no longer accepting uploads from international locations (!!) which means that a lot of the links (and a good portion of my journal dammit!) are now broken ( Read more... )

Personally I re-hosted all my icons for the fest to imageshack and edited/commented again with the new links (in the corresponding prompts).

DAMN YOU, TINYPIC.

ps- for international users ALL links are broken so yea... we've been owned.

If we send a .zip, do we need to tell you which prompts they were for?

I don't think I'll have time to reupload and repost the icons before the end of the iconfest.

No, just a .zip file is fine - in the round-up post they'll be posted under your name so they don't need to correspond to an actual prompt :)

Is this really true? Does that mean that my links are all going to stop working? Because I can still see them, and I can still upload. (from Australia, btw)

It's weird, because I can see half of mine, but the other ones have a 'error' image on them and I'm not able to upload at all (I'm from NZ, so *waves* hi!). I would say it was a cache/cookie thing if you could still see some of them (the computer stores the image) but if you can upload, idk. Enough people are having problems that it's probably better to be safe than sorry.

Can you give me a link to one of yours and I'll see if I can see it?

hey! I read somwhere that only the UK, the US, Canada and Australia are unaffected. (that sucks for you)

Augh, this really sucks. :(

I have a question (since I'm in the States I can't see for myself)- are people who are overseas unable to see pictures that were uploaded+linked by people who are from USA too?

Either way I'm definitely switching to a new hosting website. First photobucket turns to crap and now tinypic too? How frustrating...

Yeah, I can see those fine so you're probably okay - I take it you're in the States? It must just be for international users then, so anything uploaded by those in the US is okay.
