You lucky thing! I would LOVE to go to Japan! Seeing Mt Fuji from the air is quite something. And your photos speak of many adventures! Thank you for sharing them. A delight to see :)
I certainly feel very, very lucky indeed! I mean, the whole trip was paid for - mostly by the Japanese, partly through our own orchestra fundraising - and we even received a small allowance to spend on food. They put us up in a beautiful hotel in Tokyo (4 star), which included a scrumptious buffet breakfast every morning, and transported us everywhere we needed to go by air-conditioned coach. The Japanese were fantastic hosts!
If I had one gripe, it's that we didn't have enough free time away from rehearsals, concerts, functions, etc., but I would definitely go back, given the chance (not likely).
It was such a great opportunity - I feel so lucky it came my way! Feels a bit like a distant dream now that I've come back to my regular, dull old life.
I love the way you've edited your photos together.
Thanks! Actually, I got a bit lazy and downloaded some collage templates to use as a base and I just slotted the photos in. Easy.
Speaking of concert halls, did you hear of the inflatable one?
Haha, yes. I think that this is one of those 'only in Japan' things. LOL It's a very interesting place to visit. :-D
