1. You seem like one of the most 'together' people I know - It's like you have a firm grip on life, and life for you happens to be a nice long sturdy ladder. I admire the strength and conviction with which you often journal. 2. Pearls, Hot kinky chicks, dogged determination 3. 11pm - late enough to be out having fun, but not so late everyone's plastered 4. You've already found the perfect word to describe yourself: ta2dmrm8! 5. The 'showdown' in G's basement. The look on your face while I was wailing on him was priceless, and I thought it was so cool that you recognized the Pixies song from Fight Club that was part of the mix CD I played during it. 6. I've wondered why, of all places, you're in Dayton, OH. I know you didn't grow up there - and as far as I know people don't just wake up one morning and say "Gee, I think I'll try to find a job in Dayton cause that's where I really wanna live." So why Dayton?
I get asked that a lot! :) I was working in Manhattan and commuting from Long Island -- did that for 6 years after college graduation and it was no life. the commute was killing my soul. so, in 96-97 I was just starting to think about relocating to a sweet city like Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa or possibly out west (my folks had moved to Cali in 94). then I got a call from a former client at The Iams Co. in Dayton, asking if I'd come out to interview for a Comms. Manager job. I did, got the job, and moved to Dayton a few weeks later! It was a move I've never regretted -- amazing job at a fantastic company (until P&G bought Iams, anyway), awesome quality of life here and low cost of living. I'd never move back to NY although I do love to visit when I can. :) xoxo
1. I'd never met a real chef before you, and it's really interesting to read you journaling about what it's like. You seem amazingly capable of mentally separating your work life from your home life despite how much your work life tries to intrude on your personal time. 2. Guacamole, leather vests 3. I can't associate you with a certain time. You seem to run on event time, not clock time. 4. Chef. Though I want to spell it different and funky because you're pretty different and funky yourself (in the good ways!) [: Cheph? Chev? Sheff? Sheff's pretty good. 5. The first time I ever met you. We were at Outlands I think. Jen was wearing a white tiedoff shirt and boots, and she was leading around a barechested (black leather vest only I think?) Jeff. The dynamic between the two of you really struck me and made an impression. 6. What were the beginnings of your kinkiness? Not really reasons cause most of us don't have those, but the beginnings?
