That Time I Went To Honduras and it was Really Hot and Buggy.

Happiness today: it's FRIDAY, need I say more? Got my C.S homework done, so other than history readings this weekend is gravy for moi! I am also happy because I am drinking a grape Crush. I never outgrew my true love for grape pop. :)

As a Honduran, I can't help but be surprised by your post. You are right about some things going wrong at the time. However, as I have traveled here in the US, things in areas I assume you haven't yet been are no far from different to Honduras.
You should learn to enjoy the pleasures of simplicity. I am sure you would've enjoyed your trip more and written about the beauty of nature, the hospitality of the people and the great experience I'm sure it was.

I'm sorry, I really should have clarified, but I didn't think anyone would be reading this but a few people on my friends list. I loved my time in Honduras, and the people I met were some of the nicest I have ever met in my life. I'm being flip in my description, because the things that went wrong were funny. :) It's not a comment on Honduras on the whole, merely specific people and events I personally experienced.

I will touch on the many wonderful aspects of the country that I saw, please be assured, I just cut this into chunks because as a story it was too long to post in one go. I learned a LOT while I was there, and am planning on using what I learned to change the voice of my story as it progresses. It was a tremendous eye-opener, and something I think every American should experience, because you really see that what you have is so much more than others.

I hope you read this and come back to see how the story ended, and thank you for posting this!

OMG it took me a million years to figure out how to comment in your layout (I normally just read your stuff through my flist). *lol* That is hilarious! And the bathroom sounds horrifying! Now I have to read part 2!

Yeah, I like how they were brave enough to tell me off as an anonymous poster and not bother to check back and see if I replied. Classy.

That bathroom.. there are no words. Seriously.
